  • Energy Audit services provided by an experienced lighting controls specialist are designed to help you optimize energy usage, reduce costs, and enhance the efficiency of your lighting and/or building systems.

    Services May Include:

    • Initial Consultation (free for the first 30 minutes) - A meeting to discuss your current lighting setup or design, energy consumption patterns, and specific goals.

    • On-Site Inspection - Thorough examination of all lighting and non-lighting systems and controls to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

    • Energy Consumption Analysis - Detailed assessment of energy usage, highlighting areas for energy potential savings.

    • Lighting Controls Assessment - Evaluation of existing lighting control systems, including sensors, timers, dimmers, and smart controls, to ensure they are functioning and integrated optimally.

    • Recommendations Report - A comprehensive report outlining findings, including actionable recommendations for upgrades, retrofits, integrations, or replacements of lighting controls and systems.

    • Cost-Benefit Analysis - Analysis of the costs associated with implementing recommended changes versus the potential energy savings and return on investment.

    • Design and Installation Support - Assistance in designing, selecting, and installing the most effective lighting control solutions, ensuring a seamless transition to more energy-efficient systems.

    • Follow-Up Services - Monitoring, training, and on-site adjustments to ensure sustained energy savings and system performance.

  • Product diagrams, blocks, or diagrams for representation of existing products in a format for use in larger specification diagrams. Diagrams will be dimensioned to broad outer dimensions. Exploded or part-by-part diagrams may require additional time and labor.

  • Lighting controls takeoff and Bill of Materials based on construction documentation provided by another group. Pricing is for a manufacturer listed on the specification. Pricing for equals or crosses depends on complexity of the system.

Terms and Conditions

Invoices are 5/10 Net 30; 5% discount applied to any invoices paid within 10 business days of receipt.

Included in rates:

Rates include the cost of software licenses, which are necessary for running the program, and computer hardware required to support the software's operations efficiently. Our pricing structure ensures that Penumbra Controls has everything needed to seamlessly integrate with your workflow so as to avoid any unexpected additional expenses.

Excluded from rates:

Mileage, airfare, hotels, onsite meals, and project specific hardware/software are not covered under the rates mentioned. These additional expenses are the responsibility of the client and will be billed separately.
